Falling asleep can be a challenge.
Your mind racing with what has happened, and what will come to happen.
We know how hard it can be, and that’s why we have compiled some of our favorite tips, to help you get the sleep you need.
No Screens 1 Hour Before Bed
We know this sounds so hard! But imagine how relaxing it sounds to take that hour to truly relax, and do something for yourself, like taking a bath, putting on a soothing podcast, reading, or even drawing or painting. Experts agree that this technique is a game-changer when it comes to getting real, quality sleep.
No Screens In Your Bedroom
One of the worst causes of sleep loss, or poor sleep, is our addiction to screens. If you can manage to keep your computer and phone out of your bedroom, you will see a 12x increase in your sleep quality!
Soft Light at Night
Candles, or small shaded lamps with shawls on top, are not just accessories for a witchy aesthetic! They provide soft light, so your body is more acclimated to the darkness. This makes the transition to sleep so much easier!
Soft, Clean Sheets
We know how it is… it can get overwhelming to keep up with laundry, especially if something doesn’t seem that dirty. But clean soft sheets are a must! We recommend investing in at least 4 sets of beautiful, natural fiber sheets, so you never have to stress about changing them!
Find some essential oils, or lotions, that contain relaxing, sleep-friendly scents, like lavender or chamomile. Maybe you can get a two-for-one with a gorgeous candle with these scents! Your body will thank you!
No matter what you decide is best for you, a routine is essential. Take the time to brush and floss your teeth, wash your face, put on luxurious moisturizers, and get into beautiful and comfortable sleeping clothes.
Whatever your good sleep routine becomes, we hope these tips have given you some inspiration!
